    This place is very reasonably priced for the ​DC area. I loved the vegetable Omelet​ here. I always believe in after effect of food and I felt good about the quality of food here as well. I am surprised why this place has such fewer​ stars!! The lady server was very nice and patient. Overall, if you are looking for a ​good and reasonable breakfast in the ​DC area, ​please check​k out​ this place!

    Three of us stopped here for a family lunch of a BLT, meatloaf with gravy and baked chicken with collard greens. Very homey atmosphere with tables for one, two, three or four or more as well as a counter. This place has not been updated so neither male or female bathrooms are wheelchair accessible! (Doors narrow, no turning space).

    The food is great. It comes out hot and so does the coffee. There's a lot of history in these walls. Looking at all the pictures on the wall and talking to the waitress about the place is so nice. This place has a great environment and such friendly staff. The omelette I had was delicious and the salmon cakes were actual salmon cakes. It wasn't all breading and I can't wait to try more of the food here.

    Good soul food...and OMG the sweet potato cake is off the chain. Collard greens, green beans are seasoned well not salty. The wait staff is kind and very helpful.
